It was rough at first, but my kids have started saying, “I’ll be better,” or “I’ll stop doing (whatever it is).” And, I have used that verse with my kids in those conversations.

My kid is 4.5. The hitting is usually part of the escalation cycle, but I know it will get better some day.
It will. Just keep on keeping on and pointing them to Jesus.
