Because faith doesn’t live in a vacuum — and neither do the stories worth telling.
Grit & Wit is where real life meets honest faith, a little sarcasm, and the kind of wisdom you only learn by living it. These are stories about family, work, failure, growth, and finding meaning in the middle of everyday chaos — laundry piles included.
You’ll find reflections that make you laugh, pause, and sometimes rethink how faith fits into Monday morning. No polished answers. No perfect people. Just lived experiences, told honestly, with humor and heart.
I write for parents, spouses, and anyone trying to live their faith out loud — at home, at work, and everywhere in between. Much of what I write is shaped in real time by conversations with my kids, who regularly read over my shoulder, interrupt my sentences, and ask questions that don’t allow for shallow answers.
I’m also the author of Faith With Work Boots On, a devotional through the Book of James for people who believe faith was never meant to stay on the page.
You may have heard me on podcasts like Dad Up, Dad Space, Living the Next Chapter, and The Family Teams Podcast, where I talk about faith, family, and the lessons learned along the way. You can find those conversations in the Grit & Wit in the Wild tab.
No spam. No ads. No lectures.
Just honest stories, practical faith, and a reminder that you’re not alone in trying to figure it all out.

It’s good to have you here.
