This post is impeccably timed. Today my husband was notified he was being terminated from his full time job. It’s a situation that shouts injustice, but the irony is that he hates this job and we’ve been praying for ministry opportunities to open up (he is an ordained pastor with an MDiv). I keep thinking that while we would have preferred for him to have a job lined up and gotten to “quit,” maybe the Lord is using this as the catalyst for something better. But there are so many uncertainties and fears. So thank you for this. I know God is good and always does good.

Love this!!!! I had to take a step back in my career many years ago but that led to me meeting my new boss at that time, JJ. Outside of my own Dad, he is still the 2nd most influential person in my life on Earth. JJ is retired now, but we still stay in contact…I can so appreciate your experience because I had one that changed my life too!
